The Yield secures US fresh produce industry expert for key global role

Sydney / San Francisco, 19 September 2022 – The Yield Technology Solutions Pty Ltd (“The Yield”) today announced Californian-based horticultural expert, Ryan Bolduan, as the company’s new Chief Product Officer in a key hire for the US and as part of the Global Senior Leadership Team.

The newly created role will be responsible for helping to establish and scale The Yield in North American markets and driving product development.

Bolduan is a highly experienced and awarded executive in the North American fresh produce industry. He joins The Yield from his previous role as Director of Enterprise Planning Solutions at Driscoll’s, a global market leader in fresh berries, where he has worked since 2009.

In his early career Bolduan worked in genetics research and in R&D with nursery production. He also worked in operations, including as District Manager in one of Driscoll’s largest production areas in Baja (Mexico) working extensively with contract growers. More recently, Bolduan led a range of commercial transformation projects for Driscoll’s including the introduction of substrate production into the raspberry category, re-engineering strawberry pack out systems and as a leader in digital transformation implementing integrated business planning software and analytics.

Bolduan is a qualified Plant Protection Science (Fruit Science) graduate from California Polytechnic State University and a licensed Californian Pest Control Advisor. He also worked as a researcher at the prestigious Stanford University on a National Science Foundation research grant in plant genetics and biotechnology.

Bolduan is excited about his move to data and analytics company, The Yield.
